The end has not been heard of Senator Dino Melaye’s book launch held on Monday May 15 at the Yar’Adua Centre, Abuja.
With a large number of political leaders and government functionaries in attendance at the launch, Senator Melaye didn’t fail to invite ex Big Brother Naija housemate, Tokunbo Idowu aka Tboss.

Though he posted her picture with him on his Instagram page, the senator quickly deleted that particular photo when some fans asked if he was one of the ‘private jet owners’ Tboss talked about when she was in the Big Brother house.
However, Tboss took to Instagram to celebrate what she regarded as an honour. Posting photos of herself and others at the launch, she wrote:
“Honored to have been invited to a gathering of Nigerian leaders trying to fight Corruption. #AntidotesForCorruption #booklaunch. #Abuja.” (sic)

The book entitled, “Antidotes For Corruption: The Nigerian Story,” was authored by Melaye and said to be a compilation of newspaper articles and stories on corruption. The hardback of Melaye’s anti-corruption book costs N50, 000 each.
It was a rain of naira which ran into millions at the event. The Senate President, Bukola Saraki, bought 109 copies for all Senators while Speaker, Dogara bought 360 for all members of the House of Representatives.
In attendance at the event were former First Lady, Dame Patience Jonathan who came with her friend, Hajia Bola Shagaya; the Senate President, Bukola Saraki; his deputy, Ike Ekweremadu; former Minister of Aviation, Stella Oduah, Senator Andy Uba, FIRS boss, Tunde Fowler and a host of others.
The Speaker, House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara; former Governor Wada of Kogi State,Gov Bafarawa; Senator and former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Sen Pius Ayim and the Clerk of the National Assembly were also part of the guests at the ceremony.
