The management of veteran Nollywood actress Ngozi Nwosu has announced that she is responding well to treatment and is being prepared for the first of three surgeries following a public appeal for financial assistance.
Earlier this week, the actress disclosed that she was battling an undisclosed illness and urgently needed three life-saving surgeries estimated to cost ₦30 million. She admitted that making her health challenges public was difficult but said she had no other option.
Providing an update on Saturday through her official Instagram page, her management expressed appreciation to Nigerians and supporters across the world for their generosity since the appeal was made public.
According to the statement, the actress has received an outpouring of prayers, donations, messages, phone calls and encouragement, which have provided much-needed support during the difficult period.
