Veteran Nollywood actress Ngozi Nwosu has made a heartfelt plea to Nigerians for financial support as she continues to battle a serious health condition.
In an emotional video shared on her Instagram page on Thursday, the actress revealed that she has spent the last three weeks in hospital and said her condition has become overwhelming.
Appealing to fans, friends and well-wishers, Nwosu said she urgently needs help to continue her treatment.
“My people, fans and family, I know you have not seen me in circulation for some time. I have been hospitalised now for three weeks. Please the thing has gone beyond my control. I need your help, don’t let me die. I know that you people never forsake me and I know God will always see me through,” she said.
The actress disclosed that doctors have recommended three surgeries, adding that she is currently living with intense pain.
“Because I am going through a lot in pain. I have three surgeries to go through with. Please, don’t let me die. If there is anything you want to do for me, please contact my management. Thank you and God bless. My sickness will never be anybody’s portion in Jesus name,” she added.
While Nwosu did not disclose the nature of her illness, she has previously faced serious health challenges.

In 2012, she publicly appealed for assistance after being diagnosed with kidney-related complications and a heart condition. Her appeal attracted support from Nigerians, including the then Governor of Lagos State, Babatunde Fashola, who donated ₦4.5 million towards her medical treatment.
She was subsequently flown to the United Kingdom for surgery and later expressed appreciation to the Lagos State Government and everyone who contributed to her recovery.
