Many Nigerians are unhappy with President Bola Tinubu’s selection of ministerial nominees, and they have taken to social media to criticize him. They claim that the majority of the 28 names on the list of nominees he sent to the National Assembly for approval are unfit to serve as ministers.

Along with 26 other people, the ministerial list includes former governors Nyesom Wike and Nasir El-Rufai.

Netizens call it the recycling of out-of-date politicians who have ruined the nation in the past and claim it left no room for those who were waiting to be tomorrow’s leaders.

On Twitter, @Mykolado commented in response to the list, saying, “Ministerial positions have evolved into pay slots rather than being a list of technocrats who can make a difference. Ex-government officials, senators, and representatives are all on the list. Nothing for those who waited to become tomorrow’s leaders.

Sheu Sani, a former senator and activist, said of the president’s choice for ministers: “The President embraced some Serpents with a history of treachery and rewarded some vultures for playing the Judas.” The King isn’t spared by appeasing a snake in a palace.

“Honestly that Ministerial list is like “You be my boy, come and utilize this one hold body,” said another Twitter user, @Morris_Monye. Do the individuals on the list really have what it takes to turn the nation around, according to BAT, who claims as much in his book? As effective as his group is, a leader. Check out the team of OBJ and GEJ.

“Instead of being on the list of technocrats who can make a difference, a ministerial seat has turned into a compensation slot. Ex-government officials, senators, and representatives are all on the list. Nothing for those who waited to become tomorrow’s leaders.Speculated @Mykoladoo.

The tweet from @jessecarson007 said, “I’m quite dissatisfied with the list! I find it unbelievable that he is hiring the same individuals that destroyed the nation.

“So we’ve been waiting more than two months for His political recompense and appreciation for helping me list? Who wants to rescue Nigeria from its predicament, Na?Tweeted @CEOchrysolite.

Remember that President Bola Tinubu sent the long-awaited Ministerial list to Senate President Senator Godswill Akpabio on Thursday, and shockingly, names like Nyesom Wike, Dave Umahi, and Nasir El-Rufai were on the list.
