Trudy Ewurama Marcel and her colleague nurse Ramatu both workers of Royal MMR Hospital shocked Ghanaians with their conduct.

The two nurses who went viral for broadcasting on Facebook Live have been sacked.

They chose to do Facebook Live while at work and responded to comments at the expense of patients awaiting to seek healthcare.

When Adom FM broke the news Thursday, authorities at the hospital were shunned and assured the two nurses would be sanctioned.

After thorough investigations, Medical Director of Royal MMR hospital, Dr. Mohammed Donkor confirmed to Adom News Friday that the two have been sacked

He indicated that, Trudy and Ramatu who were employed as health assistants are aware their conduct is against hospital rules.

Dr. Donkor said the hospital feels very embarrassed by the conduct of the two thus had no choice than to part ways with them.

Meanwhile, the Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association (GRNMA) has instituted investigations into the matter.

Public Relations Officer of the association, Douglas Adu Fokuo though their conduct is unpardonable, they are worried about the psychological well-being of two nurses.

An IG user, Clementina revealed:
“Last week she was on live too , she is being doing that for long time believe me, one of her friends with home attire came to see her whiles she is on night shift , she was walking from one ward to another live! I commented n I said girl be careful ! What’s patients confidentiality in nursing ? What about if one of the clients is on pacemaker n allergy to phones ? Well she deleted my comment n blocked me ! I wasn’t following her though but mutual friends commented that’s why she came to my newsfeed ! It’s ridiculous ! The video that surfaced was diff from the one she did last week I’m sure this is second one n someone decided to record it !’(sic)
