The furore over the Tuesday attack on military personnel at the Nigerian Defence Academy, NDA, Kaduna by armed is still lingering.

Earlier today, a Major, Stephen Datong, who was abducted was reportedly found dead.

He was kidnapped during an early morning raid at the Nigerian Defence Academy, Kaduna, leaving two persons dead and one kidnapped.

His body was reportedly  found in the evening, hours after he was captured by bandits although the army is yet to confirm his death.

Major Stephen Datong’s   abductors reportedly demanded N200 million to set him free.

Datong, who was from Pankshin in Plateau state, was born 4 January, 1978.

One of the photographs circulating in the social media showed the officer with his pregnant wife.
