A video has emerged online showing four unidentified young men allegedly attacking Nigerian rapper, Ruggedman, in a restaurant in London.
The entertainer posted the clip on Instagram with the message: “Being attacked by 4 misguided boys will not deter me from fighting for the youths, even though they blindly fight me.”
He said the attack started after the restaurant owner asked if everyone had paid for their food.
He posted another video thereafter, saying he was okay and thanking those who reached out to him.
The 43-year-old also used the video to promote his forthcoming show.
A Nigeria police ambassador, Ruggedman recently launched a campaign on internet fraudsters.
That earned him rebuke from younger musician, Naira Marley, whose music glorifies cybercrime, popularly referred to as Yahoo Yahoo in Nigeria.
The alleged attack on Ruggedman took place on the day Naira Marley was released from prison after meeting the bail condition in a case brought against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
