News emerged in some quarters earlier today that Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Rasheed Adewale Akanbi, and his Oloori, Queen Channel had packed up their marriage and that he had deleted pictures of his Oloori, Queen Channel, from his Instagram handle.

However, new update about the news reveals that the reports were all fake and not true.

According to City People, a call was put through to the Oluwo himself and he was asked about the state of affairs of his marriage and the story currently making the rounds on social media.

It was reported that the Oluwo burst out laughing and was quick to rebuff the story. He was said to have called back on video call in which he, his Oloori and their son, Oduduwa spoke debunking the marriage rumour.

They stood side-by-side to talk to City People, the Oluwo says the story is a fabrication coming from the pit of hell.

Recall that in an interview with Premium Time last year, the Oba revealed how he was able to survive the crises and challenges he faced ascending the throne.

He said then “I don’t see challenges as anything. It was a situation where people did not know me. So I don’t hold it against anybody. Those who opposed me did not know that I came with a message and that I am a different kind of person who has brought a new kind of leadership. I brought a leadership that is committed to serving humanity.
