Veteran Yoruba actress, Morenike Alausa, popularly known as Mama Ereko, has opened up about the emotional trauma she endured during her marriage.
In a candid interview on Talk2Dunnis TV’s YouTube channel, the actress revealed that her late husband often brought his girlfriends home and slept with them while she was present.
“Sometimes my husband would send me on errands just so his girlfriend could visit him in our house,” she recalled. “Other times, he would bring them home and have sex with them while I was there.”
Despite her anger, Mama Ereko admitted that she never confronted him because she was afraid of him.
“I was always angry, but I couldn’t challenge him because I feared him,” she revealed.
The actress, who has since found strength and independence, also spoke about how she built her career in the movie industry on her own terms.
