Veteran Nollywood actor Bolaji Amusan, popularly known as Mr Latin, has marked a significant personal achievement by earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Peace and Conflict Resolution from the National Open University of Nigeria.
The actor announced the milestone on his Instagram page on Saturday, expressing joy at completing the long-awaited academic journey.
“Today, I am proud to be conferred with a BSc in Peace and Conflict Resolution. Done and dusted,” he wrote.
Amusan, who currently serves as President of the Theatre Arts and Movie Practitioners Association of Nigeria, gave credit to God for the success of his studies.
“To God be all the glory. Thank you, Lord, for the successful convocation,” the statement read.
He also acknowledged the support system that helped him through the process.
“My sincere appreciation to my family, friends, and well-wishers for your love and support.”
The journey to earning the degree began in 2017, years after he had initially been unable to pursue higher education due to financial limitations following his secondary school education.

A native of Gbongan in Osun State, Amusan began acting in 1988 before carving a niche as a comedian in 1991.
His popular stage name, Mr Latin, originated from a moment on a film set in 1992 when his attempt to speak French in the movie 50-50 was mistaken for Latin by a producer.
His latest achievement highlights a story of persistence, showing that it is never too late to return to education and accomplish long-term goals.
