The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Oyo chapter has ordered all chapels to boycott all activities of former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode currently on tour in the State.

The decision is a fall out of Fani-Kayode verbal assault on Daily Trust Reporter, Eyo Charles in Calabar last week, which generated uproar from the media sector.

The statement jointly signed by the body urged all chapels to shun the ex-minister’s food tour in the State.

It noted that the Union will not be part of the visit.

The statement read, “Nigerian Union of Journalists, NUJ, Oyo state chapter has asked its members to boycott a former minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode’s press conference as he “visits” the state today in continuation of his ” tour”.
