Wunmi, the wife of the late musician Mohbad, has made a heartfelt plea to her father-in-law, urging him to lay her husband to rest months after his exhumation for forensic examination.
Following Mohbad’s controversial death, his remains were dug up for an autopsy and further investigations, but he is yet to be reburied, leaving Wunmi emotionally drained.
In a recent outcry, she accused Mohbad’s father of deliberately stalling the burial and delaying the DNA test he had previously demanded.
“He does not want the truth; he wants the conversation to continue because as long as it does, the money and support will keep coming,” Wunmi alleged.
She also claimed that some social media figures had turned Mohbad’s death into a business, profiting from online propaganda, defamation, and even allegedly paying her father-in-law a salary from their earnings.
The ongoing dispute has further fueled the controversy surrounding Mohbad’s passing, with fans demanding a resolution and justice for the late singer.
