The father of the late Nigerian singer, Mohbad, Joseph Aloba, has made some shocking revelations during a coroner’s inquest regarding his son’s passing. Aloba stated that his son had lived with him for 18 years and had never fallen seriously ill, except for a minor incident when he was 16.
He also mentioned that Mohbad left home at the age of consent to pursue a career in music and assisted Naira Marley in the process.
Aloba shared that his son had expressed a desire to reconcile with his mother, which they eventually did. Mohbad was apparently happy about this and even bought his father a car. When issues arose between him and Naira Marley, he assured his father that he would handle them.
However, the most surprising revelation was Aloba’s claim that Mohbad’s wife, Omowunmi, was unfaithful to his son. He alleged that she had put sleeping pills in his food and then slept with another artist in a separate room within the same house they shared.
Aloba also mentioned that he didn’t trust Omowunmi, and he believed that all the documents for his son’s landed property were still in her mother’s possession.
Aloba revealed that he wasn’t aware of the condition of his son’s neck during the burial as he was not present at the time. These revelations have stirred reactions online, as they shed light on the complexities and controversies surrounding the late artist’s life and relationships.
