The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Idowu Owohunwa, has provided details about what happened to the late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, after he was injected. The information was shared during a press briefing on Friday, as part of the preliminary reports from the police investigation into the circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s death.
CP Idowu Owohunwa revealed that Mohbad started experiencing adverse effects after he was injected three times by a nurse named Feyisayo Ogedemgbe on September 12, 2023. According to the police commissioner, the singer began vomiting and developed goosebumps following the injections.
The police have been conducting interviews with various individuals connected to the case, including Mohbad’s family members, such as his father, mother, sisters, brother, wife, and manager, among others. These interviews are part of the ongoing efforts to unravel the events leading to the musician’s tragic death.
Ultimately, Mohbad was brought to the hospital already deceased on September 12, and medical professionals on duty confirmed his death.
The nurse, Feyisayo Ogedemgbe, who administered the injections at Mohbad’s residence, was invited to do so by the singer’s friend, Ayobami Sodiq, also known as Spending. The police believe that the three injections administered by the nurse played a role in the sequence of events leading to Mohbad’s death, as he experienced vomiting and goosebumps shortly after the injections.
