Mohammed Salah once again proved his value to Liverpool, delivering a stellar performance in their 2-0 victory over Premier League champions Manchester City.
The win not only extended Liverpool’s lead at the top of the table to nine points but also brought questions about Mohammed Salah’s future at Anfield into sharper focus.
The Egyptian maestro was instrumental, setting up Cody Gakpo’s opening goal with his trademark flair and sealing the win with a composed penalty.
His assist and goal added to his remarkable Premier League record, now equaling Wayne Rooney with contributions (goals and assists) in 36 matches.
Despite his brilliance on the pitch, Mohammed Salah’s future remains uncertain. At 32, and with his contract expiring at the end of the season, Salah admitted the thought of leaving Liverpool has crossed his mind.
