The ongoing feud between popular gospel singer Mercy Chinwo and her former manager, Eezee Tee, has escalated further as the music executive publicly responded to Mercy’s recent claims.
Mercy Chinwo’s Allegations
Mercy Chinwo had accused Eezee Concepts, the record label owned by Eezee Tee, of orchestrating a smear campaign against her through bloggers.
She also recalled an incident from 2019, alleging that Eezee Tee attempted to pressure her into signing a fraudulent contract, which she ultimately rejected.
Eezee Tee’s Response
Taking to Instagram, Eezee Tee dismissed Mercy Chinwo’s claims as “gimmicks” and revealed that she had filed a petition against him with the EFCC in 2019, an action he believes was an attempt to discredit him.
He explained that he initially chose silence in hopes of resolving the issue peacefully but decided to speak out after repeated attempts at reconciliation were misinterpreted as weakness.
“What do you expect of someone who can perfectly imitate the voice of a child and sounds so real like she’s a child? She’s a fantastic actress,” Eezee Tee remarked in his video response.
Failed Reconciliation Efforts
According to Eezee Tee, he sought mediation through respected Christian leaders, including Bishop Humphrey and Bishop Mike Okonkwo, to settle the dispute. However, his efforts reportedly led to further misunderstandings.
“If I didn’t care about the body of Christ, I wouldn’t have gone to meet these people. But what did I hear? ‘He’s running everywhere because he’s scared.’ Every time I put forward an approach to a peaceful resolution, it was communicated as weakness.”
He further alleged that the situation was a scripted conspiracy and a witch-hunt against him.

In the caption of his video, Eezee Tee detailed the series of alleged injustices he endured, stating: “Even in the face of injustice, I chose silence. When you involved the EFCC to detain me, I remained silent. When you sought resolution through the Multidoor Court, I remained silent. Even when you filed a lawsuit to protect my human rights and prevent further harassment, I still chose silence.
But then, you maliciously manipulated the system, obtained a bench warrant against me, and published it globally.
This is not just about me—it’s about transparency, fairness, and standing up against unjust actions.
Sometimes, silence is mistaken for weakness, but let me assure you, truth always prevails. Facts are stubborn.”**
