The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has updated its official portal, reinstating David Mark as the national chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), alongside Rauf Aregbesola as national secretary.
The update, noticed on Thursday evening, follows recent judicial developments in the party’s ongoing leadership dispute.
INEC had earlier removed the Mark-led executive from its website in April, citing an appeal court ruling that affected the leadership structure of the party.
The ADC leadership crisis has seen rival factions laying claim to control of the party, including the Mark-led group and another faction led by Nafiu Bala, a former national vice-chairman.
However, the Supreme Court on Thursday intervened in the matter, ordering that the case be returned to the Federal High Court for proper hearing and determination.

Following the Supreme Court’s decision, INEC restored the ADC leadership details on its portal, once again listing Mark as chairman of the party.
