A yet-to-be-identified man reportedly jumped into the Lagos Lagoon after abandoning his vehicle on a bridge, in an incident that could have turned tragic.
The situation was, however, brought under control after local fishermen quickly intervened and rescued him from the water, preventing what eyewitnesses described as a potentially fatal outcome.
A video of the rescue was shared on Instagram on Wednesday by Isaac Fayose, who expressed concern and urged Nigerians to look out for their loved ones.
“Please, check on your family and friends. This just happened today. Who knows what went wrong,” he wrote.
