Veteran Nollywood actress, Morenike Alausa, popularly known as Mama Ereko, has shared the reason behind her decision to remain single after losing her husband.
Speaking on Talk2Dunnis TV’s YouTube channel, the seasoned actress revealed that staying unmarried has helped her maintain her youthful appearance and avoid unnecessary stress.
“If I had remarried, people wouldn’t be complimenting my looks today. The stress that comes with intimacy in marriage makes women age faster,” Mama Ereko stated.
She further disclosed that over the years, she has become independent and no longer sees the need for a man in her life.
“I’ve become my own man. I don’t even remember what it feels like to be with one anymore,” she added.
Her candid revelation has since sparked discussions about personal choices and aging in relationships.
