A woman who visited Lekki toll gate protest ground in Lagos State to sell groundnuts for protesters, has received over N2million donations from well meaning Nigerians.
On Wednesday, the protesters, on seeing her at the protest ground, were moved to compassion which prompted them to raise money for her to live a better life.
The groundnut seller’s account details was shared online and Nigerians, including concerned celebrities, donated money to her account.
At first, it was announced that she had received donations to the tune of N500,000, but a recent update, confirms that the amount has gone up to a whooping N2.3million.
The woman who simply went to sell her groundnut couldn’t hide her tears when she received the amazing news.
