Born on September 2, 1972, beautiful and calm Lola Omotayo got officially married to Peter Okoye of the Psquare musical group, almost nine years ago.
But their affair started 20 years ago. Then Peter, who was born on November 18, 1981 was attracted to Lola, who was not accepted by the Anambra born Okoye family.
Little wonder, the couple celebrates wedding anniversary with much display of love on social media.
Not everyone would forget the epistle she wrote when they marked their fifth wedding anniversary in 2018.
Then, she revealed that her husband loves her to the extent of taking a bullet for her.
“You have been called all sorts of names but because you know who you are and because you are confident in yourself, and because you know that nobody is dragging this role with you, words don’t bother you any longer and that I respect. I am blessed to have a husband who will take a bullet for me any day,” she wrote in parts.
Now 50 and with no cares in the world, Lola stormed social media on Friday sharing stunning photos with this caption: “50 Shades of Lollipop😁🥰…….I am 50 and proud!”
For Peter, it was another opportunity to praise his wife. He wrote on his Instagram page, “As wine ages, it matures into a drink that even the heavens crave for.

Though other members of the Okoye family ignored Lola’s golden jubilee celebration, her beautiful photos and videos flooded social media on Friday with many referring to her looks as that of a 20-something-year-old.
But Anita Okoye, the estranged wife of Paul Okoye was in Lola Omotayo’s comment section to wish her well,. Anita wrote, “The Queen!!! 😍 Happy Birthday Beautiful 🤩 50 where? 🔥🔥 May God continue to bless you and protect you! Love you loads Sis 💕💕❤️“
Nigerian music act, Dbanj was in Peter’s comment section to wish Lola a wonderful birthday. He wrote, “Happy bday to the Queen , Mamalet , Babylet of life 💯”
