Renowned Yoruba movie veteran Oyewole Olowomojuore, better known to fans as Baba Gebu, has been confirmed dead.
The sad development was announced on Wednesday by actor and producer Kunle Afod via his verified Instagram page. Afod disclosed that the respected actor died on Tuesday after suffering a short illness.
Sharing the heartbreaking news, Afod penned an emotional message paying tribute to the late screen legend. He wrote, “It saddens my heart as I announce the passing away of our great legend, a great actor who passed away this evening after a brief illness… BABA GEBU, may your soul rest in peace.”
