The Legal Practitioners’ Privileges Committee (LPPC) has officially confirmed Dr. Kayode Ajulo, a constitutional lawyer, and 57 other individuals as Senior Advocates of Nigeria (SANs).
This announcement was made in a statement issued by the LPPC’s Secretary, Mr. Hajo Bello, in Abuja.
The LPPC had previously shortlisted 69 lawyers for this prestigious honor. Among those selected are Funmi Falana, the wife of Mr. Femi Falana (SAN); Mrs. Folashade Alli, the daughter of Chief Afe Babalola (SAN); Abiola Oyebanji; Bomo Agbebi; Daniel Uruakpa; Felix Offia; Lawrence Falade; and Kingsley Obamogie, among others.
The swearing-in ceremony for the 58 successful applicants is scheduled to take place on November 27.
Dr. Kayode Ajulo is a renowned constitutional lawyer and human rights activist with extensive expertise in various areas of law, including litigation, constitutional law, corporate and commercial law, and human rights.
He holds a law degree from the University of Jos and has pursued further education at various international institutions.
Ajulo currently serves as a research scholar at Lincoln University College and dedicates his knowledge as an adjunct lecturer at several universities, including Adekunle Ajasin University in Ondo State.
His remarkable contributions to the legal field have earned him numerous awards and honors, including the Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON), which was conferred on him by President Muhammadu Buhari.
