The remains of late Nigerian singer, Ifunanya Nwangene, have been interred in her hometown in Nkanu East Local Government Area of Enugu State, bringing a sombre close to days of mourning following her sudden death.
Nwangene reportedly died after being bitten by a snake at her residence in Abuja, a tragic incident that stirred an outpouring of grief and tributes across social media platforms. Her passing, confirmed at the Federal Medical Centre, Abuja, on January 31, 2026, left fans, colleagues, and loved ones in deep shock.
