It’s indeed a sad end for Farida Bashir Ikara, the undergraduate who snatched her best friend’s fiancée just some months to their wedding.
In 2017, a lady, Ayeesha OC, took to Instagram to reveal how her best friend betrayed her and was about marrying her man!
She wrote:
“Oh life! This is my close friend Farida Bashir Ikara @fareeluv whom is getting married to the man I am supposed to get married to Junaidu Usman Abubakar @junaidu2011 , a friend whom I trusted with the whole my heart, doing all the preparations of my wedding together and now she’s has betrayed me. Turns out she’s getting married to him on 25/03/17. Allah You are my strength, so I leave everything to You to fight for me.And I know for sure what is coming is better than what is gone……”
Though Farida married Junaid, she died a year and a few months after and some of her friends took to social media recently to mourn her demise.
According to a close source, Farida, who didn’t have any child for Junaid till her death in May 2018, complained of stomach ache and died some hours after.
When contacted Ayeesha, who is graduating in September from the Ado Bayero University, Kano, refused to talk but prayed that the soul of her best friend rest in peace.
