Nollywood actor Kunle Afod has finally reacted to reports suggesting that his marriage to his wife, Desola, is facing serious challenges.
Speculation about trouble in their relationship began on Sunday after a blog claimed that Desola had allegedly moved out of their home and checked into a hotel. The report quickly spread across social media, prompting fans and colleagues to reach out to the actor for clarity.
In a post shared on Instagram, Afod thanked those who expressed concern and reassured them that he was doing well. Although he avoided directly confirming or denying the claims, he admitted that he had taken some time for personal reflection.
“I want to use this opportunity to say a big thank you to everyone who checked up on me. I am fine, good, and okay,” he said.
“It was just a reflection time. It was a time to reflect on the past. Think about your efforts and hope for a better future.
“I received different calls. Nothing happened. Nothing happened to me. We will not hear bad news from anyone. You and I will enjoy our lives with happiness.
“There is no time there will not be trying times. Anytime it comes, we pray to overcome.”

Meanwhile, Desola appeared to subtly dismiss the separation rumours through her own Instagram updates. In a video that later went viral, she and her husband were seen laughing and sharing a light moment inside a car.
In the clip, Afod jokingly asked his wife to drive him as gently as she would “her passenger,” a playful exchange that many fans interpreted as a sign that all is well between the couple.
