Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has reacted strongly to allegations suggesting she introduced her goddaughter, Fola Tinubu Kayamata, to aphrodisiacs in order to influence her relationships.
The claims were made by anonymous blog Gistlover, which alleged that the actress supplied kayamata to Fola and also published a list of celebrities and men she was reportedly linked with.
Responding via her Instagram story, Iyabo dismissed the accusations as false and malicious. She stressed that her goddaughter is an adult who is responsible for her own decisions and that she does not interfere in her personal or romantic life.
According to the actress, she neither uses nor supports kayamata and therefore could not have recommended or given it to anyone. She further clarified that her relationship with Fola was based on mentorship and support, particularly during business and legal struggles.
“First and foremost, Fola Tinubu is an adult. I’m not one to monitor or ask questions about anyone’s life. Gistlover saying I gave Fola any form of Kayamata is a lie from the pit of hell. I have never once asked or discussed anything pertaining to her relationship with her. I don’t know who she is dating, and I never asked her; nothing concerns me, nor have I ever given her anything for s*xual or relationship purposes. I myself don’t use Kayamata, so how will I give what I don’t have? I don’t patronise such,” she wrote.

Setting the record straight about their bond, Iyabo added, “Fola is not my friend; she was a lady I helped who later became a goddaughter. I don’t discuss intimate matters with goddaughters; I’m a very strict and busy person. I helped her in so many ways with her business and legal battles. Now, to the glory of God, she is doing well for herself; that was my goal with her, nothing more, nothing less.”
She concluded by invoking divine judgment, stating, “If what you have rewritten is true about me, may God destroy me and all that I stand for. But if it’s all lies about me, may God punish whoever is sending you those lies. The Return of Arinzo is coming soon.”
Her response has since drawn widespread reactions, with many fans and colleagues expressing support for the actress.
