Nollywood actress and mother of two, Iyabo Ojo has decided to clear the air on some issues pertaining to her former marriage to a certain Mr. James Ojo.
The actress took to Instagram to complain about a story published by KEMIASHEFONLOVEHAVEN.
She denied marrying James as a carpenter. She also claimed to be legally married to him.
In the said story, sources close to Iyabo and her former husband, James, had protested the Mothers’ Day video released by the actress where she lampooned her ex and confessed that he never loved her but married her because she got pregnant for him.
Proving the friends wrong, Iyabo released photos of her wedding in 1999 and also a video of their marriage certificate.
According to her, Mr. James was a clearing agent and not a carpenter. The union produced two children.
Meanwhile, his friends have rubbished her claims—James Ojo was a carpenter.
“She met him as a carpenter. We all knew he was a hardworking carpenter before God lifted him and he now lives and works in the United States. So, she had that kind of ‘society’ wedding with him and she claimed in her video that she gave birth to her children at home and in a church? Why has she been castigating him in the media just to trend and be the talk-of-the-moment? She had always painted him as an irresponsible father and this is affecting her children’s relationship with the man. Despite being a citizen of the United States currently, James Ojo is angry and not ready to file for the children. He knows if he files for them to become citizens, they will in turn file for their mum. As if we didn’t know the so-called marriage was an arranged event.
“She can present her marriage certificate and photos— that’s Iyabo’s cup of tea. She should leave James Ojo alone! They are no longer together. She should leave him out of her crass desire to be trending on social media!”
