Ibrahim Magu, suspended Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), on Wednesday said he has never received bribe all his life.
The embattled EFCC boss made this claim on Sept. 23 while testifying before the Justice Ayo Salami panel probing allegations of corruption against him.
Magu while speaking further on the probe, called on anyone who claims he had ever given him bribe to step forward before the panel to testify against him.
He was responding to allegations that he allowed Hima Aboubakar, a suspect and Nigerien national to escape from justice. The suspended EFCC boss had reportedly opened his defense on Monday, Sept 21 to clear corruption allegations against him.
