Taking to Instagram on Saturday, Pastor Ituah shared a heartfelt message honouring the late beauty queen and philanthropist, who died suddenly in 2020.
“Life isn’t always what it seems to be. Words can’t express what you mean to me. Even though you’re gone, we are still a team,” he wrote.
“It’s hard with you not around, knowing you are in Heaven, smiling down, watching us while we pray for you. Every day we pray for you, till the day we meet again.
In my heart is where I’ll keep you,” he added.
Pastor Ituah noted that even though she is “home,” they remain a team, expressing how difficult life has been without her presence.
He, however, said he finds comfort in the belief that she is smiling down on them as they continue to pray for her.
The touching post comes days after a praise night was held in her honour at Trinity House, Zion Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos. The event, titled Ibidunni – A Night of Praise, held on Wednesday, featured the Trinity House Choir and other guest ministers.

The remembrance continued with a gathering tagged Ibidunni – A Great Life on Saturday, June 14, where Pastor Tony Rapu will be the guest minister.
The anniversary will culminate on Sunday, June 15, with a thanksgiving service themed Ibidunni – It All Ends in Thanks, featuring Bishop Funke Felix-Adejumo.
The events were organised by Trinity House and the Ibidunni Ighodalo Foundation, under the banner Fulfilling Greatness.
Ibidunni Ighodalo died on June 14, 2020, at age 39.
She died of cardiac arrest in Port Harcourt while on a humanitarian mission to deliver COVID-19 palliatives. Her death came as a shock to many across the country, particularly within the faith and charity communities.
She was married to Pastor Ituah Ighodalo from 2007 until her death and was widely celebrated for her charitable works, particularly in the area of fertility support through the Ibidunni Ighodalo Foundation.
