For 10-year-old Gold Bakare, it was another moment to be happy as both her parents reunited to offer her a befitting birthday.
Gold is the second child of Nollywood actress, Ireti Osayemi and movie producer, Bakky Adeoye.
The birthday which held on Friday June 14 in her school was witnessed by both parents.
Their father later took the celebrator and her brother out for lunch.
Ireti and husband are have been separated since 2017.
“It’s Gold and Daddy again today. Thank God for years gone, thank God for today, thank God for more years to come. God has been faithful and gracious,” wrote an elated Bakky as he shared photos on his Instagram handle.
The couple, who had wisely handled their separation had always presented a different picture to the public.
Though both debunked the story of separation, friends and colleagues know they are no longer together.
Delectable actress, Ireti Osayemi and her estranged husband, Bakky Adeoye were all smiles for the cameras at the brief ceremony.
Reuniting for their daughter’s birthday is a good move from the duo as it would affect the kid positively.
Ireti was also nice to have sent a birthday shout-out to Bakky last Thursday when he also marked his birthday.
“Happy birthday Ajao @bakkyadeoye ? May your days be long and fruitful. May you always be relevant.
May you always wax stronger. Gbogbo adawo le e a ma yori si rere.The oosha himself,enjoy your day darling ???” Ireti wrote.
Bakky Adeoye reportedly had more than one wife before getting married to Ireti in 2009. Ireti, being a smart and calculating lady seemed to be the only woman to drag him to the registry, hence making her his only legal wife.
Does that mean they are back together as a couple?
“I don’t think so, they are not enemies and a couple with two children can’t fail to put up for the cameras for the sake of their kids. Its good co-parenting and kudos to the two. Ireti isn’t back to Bakare’s house at least, not yet,” a source close to the couple revealed.
Recall that Kemiashefonlovehaven exclusively reported in 2018 that Ireti Osayemi had packed out of Bakky Adeoye’s home and the marriage seems not to exist again.
Ireti had her first child for Bakky Adeoye in November 2007 while they got married officially in 2008. In 2009, she had her second child, a baby girl.
