Hadiza El-Rufai, one of the three wives of the Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has said that although she is married to a governor she is not part of his government.
Mrs El-Rufai stated this in a tweet on Thursday in reaction to criticisms over her silence on the reported Southern Kaduna killings.
In the same vein, the State government is yet to speak on the reported killings of several persons in remote villages in Southern Kaduna following attacks by armed men.
The wife of the Governor in reaction to the criticism she was getting, tweeted:
“Did any of you see ‘First Lady’ in my bio? My TL is for language, humour and other light-hearted issues. I don’t tweet about serious matters like governance and politics. Though I’m married to a governor I’m not a part of government. I swore no oath.”
