Nollywood actress Bisola Badmus is marking her birthday with a deeply emotional reflection on her journey to recovery after a life-threatening health battle.

In a heartfelt post shared on Instagram, the actress opened up about how her ordeal began in 2022 when she was diagnosed with a brain tumour — a condition she said “took all I ever worked for and almost took my life.”

Expressing profound gratitude to God, Bisola admitted that the experience was one she “will never wish anyone, not even my enemy.” She said the past years were filled with turbulence, but divine intervention kept her alive.

Sharing her testimony, she wrote: “OWO RE NI MO RI, IGBA TI AYE DANMIWO OWO RE NI MO RI… ALL I HAVE TO SAY IS THANK YOU, AGBANILAGBATAN.”

She continued by recounting how the difficult season tested her faith: “When life challenges came God proved himself to me in many ways… my GOD SAID NO, DO NOT TOUCH MY ANNOITED AND DO MY PROPHET NO HARM.”

Badmus revealed that she initially thought her symptoms were minor until doctors confirmed she had a brain tumour.
“If not for GOD it almost took my life but ALHAMDULILLAH ROBILHALEMIN… this is not an experience I will ever wish anyone, not even my enemy,” she added.

Celebrating her renewed health, she announced with joy that she is now “hale and hearty”, thanking God for restoration and for giving her the grace to witness another birthday. She also appreciated friends, colleagues, and everyone who supported her through the trying times.
“A lot went down the drain, but we thank God for his infinite mercy and intervention,” she noted.

The actress reserved special praise for her son, Abdul Malik, commending his strength throughout her medical journey: “Thank you for showing me how much I mean to you… IKU OJIJI KONI GBA E MOMI LOWO ABDUL MALIK.”

She concluded her post by urging fans to join her in thanking God for sparing her life: “I’M A LIVING TESTIMONY OF WHAT GOD CAN NOT DO DOES NOT EXIST… HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME, ABISOLA ADUNNI ADUNBARINMATOSHI ENI O.”

Badmus’ message has since drawn warm wishes and heartfelt prayers from fans and colleagues across the entertainment industry.
