On Sunday, the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu paid a condolence visit to the home of the Ighodalos.
Receiving the Governor, Pastor Ituah Ighodalo, whose wife, Ibidun, died in the early hours of Sunday, June 14, 2020, had earlier conducted a funeral service for a church member.
The governor, who shared the news on Instagram wrote:
“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow nor crying, neither shall there be anymore pain: for the former things have passed away”. Revelation 21:4
There are no words strong enough to comfort someone on the death of their loved one. But we would continue to commit them unto the hands of God who is the ultimate healer and comforter.
I paid a condolence visit to my dear friend, Pastor Ituah Ighodalo to commiserate with him on the passing of his dear wife, late Mrs. Ibidun Ighodalo.
My prayer is that Mrs. Ibidun Ighodalo rests in peace, and that God continues to abide with Pastor Ituah and their loved ones. Amen.
Married to the Senior Pastor of the Trinity House Church, Lagos Ituah Ighodalo, the former Miss Lux, Ibidun Ighodalo, died in Port-Harcourt, River State in the early hours of Sunday while handling a COVID-19 Isolation Centre project.
