Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has shared a heartfelt and emotional account of the challenges she has faced, claiming that the actions of Chris Okafor have seriously affected her health and wellbeing.
In a video that has gone viral online, Ogala broke down in tears, admitting that “everything is not okay” with her. She spoke of enduring multiple miscarriages, witnessing doctors evacuate her child, and being detained and arrested on several occasions.
The actress also described marital betrayal, noting that it is unacceptable “to come into your matrimonial home and find another woman in your bedroom, to experience a bitter marriage.”
“Everyone thinks I should be strong. Some think I’m acting or creating content, that everything is okay, but it isn’t,” she said.
“It isn’t okay to have multiple miscarriages, to watch doctors evacuate your child, or to be locked up and arrested many times. I’m not okay.
“It isn’t okay to come into your matrimonial home and find another woman in your bedroom, to experience a bitter marriage. Everything is not okay.”
In the caption accompanying the video, Ogala indicated that the “bad things” Okafor, the founder of Mountain of Liberation and Miracle Ministries, did to her may even affect her ability to speak. She also called on her cousin for help, stating: “I may not be alive for a long time. Chris Okafor has done so many bad things to me that I may not be able to speak. I’m tired of hanging on. Everything is not okay. I want to beg my cousin Emeka to reach out to me if he can.”

The tension between Ogala and Okafor began weeks ago after videos of his engagement to Pearl Okafor surfaced. Ogala claimed she had been in a relationship with Okafor since 2017, ending her previous marriage at his request, and accused him of betraying her despite years of intimacy and promises to marry her.
She later demanded that Okafor either marry her or pay compensation, escalating the claim to N1 billion over breach of promise. Nevertheless, Okafor went ahead to marry Pearl in both white and traditional ceremonies.
While he initially dismissed Ogala’s accusations as “the devil’s anger” over his marital happiness, Okafor later publicly knelt and apologized, acknowledging the truth of her claims regarding their past relationship.
