Nollywood actress Rosy Meurer has reacted to reports of reconciliation between her husband, Olakunle Churchill, and his ex-wife, actress Tonto Dikeh, revealing that she was aware of the development long before it became public knowledge.
In a candid post shared on her Instagram page, Meurer dismissed claims and online speculation suggesting she was caught off guard by the reunion.
“I knew about the reunion and reconciliation even before it got to the internet, and I have been 100% in support, so y’all just rest,” she wrote.
The actress said she decided to speak out because she was tired of what she described as persistent misinformation and unfair judgments about her.
“Believe what you choose… this is my truth, I cannot be quiet for the rest of my life whilst every Tom, Dick and Harry has an opinion about me based on lies,” she stated.
Meurer also criticised social media users whom she accused of deliberately stirring controversy at sensitive moments.
“If it’s not this today, it’s that tomorrow and y’all somehow always pick the wrong time to start your shit just to create issues,” she added.

Calling for calm and maturity, the actress urged people to focus on progress and peaceful coexistence.
“Time has passed, people have grown, no one has time to be going back and forth on what won’t put food on the table. Let love lead, allow peace reign. Please. God bless you.”
It will be recalled that Churchill was previously married to Tonto Dikeh, with whom he shares a son, before their widely publicised separation. He later tied the knot with Meurer in 2019, and the couple now have two children together.
Their relationships have frequently attracted public attention, generating widespread discussions across social media and entertainment circles.
