Reality TV personality Phyna has said she has no intention of having biological children, explaining that she prefers the idea of caring for pets instead.

The former Big Brother Naija winner shared this during a recent video, noting that her stance is influenced by her life experiences and perspective on relationships.

“I’m very fertile, but I don’t have any desire to have a biological child. I just wanna be a cat and dog mum,” she said.

Phyna explained that, from her observation, many women begin to form deeper emotional attachments to animals as they get older, especially after facing disappointments in relationships.

She suggested that repeated heartbreaks can affect how women approach love and long-term commitment, leading some to seek comfort in pets.

“I think the love for animals in women kicks in when we’re approaching our 30s, some of them in their mid-30s, late 30s, especially when you don’t see yourself settling down. Maybe you’ve been in too many broken relationships, you’ve gone through too many heartbreaks, I don’t know.

“So women tend to start developing a likeness for pets like that, and I think I’m in that stage. I think I’m in that stage right now,” she added.
