Just as many of her fans are recovering from the October 2020 shock of an alleged crashed marriage and the drama that ensued after, Nollywood actress, Chacha Eke-Faani has announced being a mother again.
Her lastborn, a boy, came in May 2019.
Its been congratulations galore since Saturday April 24, 2021 that she made the announcement.
Taking to Instagram, the mother of four initially shared photos of her maternity shoot with her husband, Austin Faani and her three children.
Some hours after, the birth of the newborn baby girl, was made public.
Written by her Austin, the excited father who faced public criticism in 2020 when he was accused of domestic violence by his in-law, said:
“I AM THE ONE THE LORD HAS TREMENDOUSLY BLESSED.The Almighty continues to increase us on every side.Thank you God for coloring our world with the arrival of our 4th Baby.Welcome home DIAMOND KANDILICHUKWU FAANI. 24th April 2021.I love you my little Queen. Your coming has blessed my soul and favoured our family greatly.”
Chacha and Ausin’s marriage became a topic on social media when the actress shared a video in October 2020 and revealed that she was leaving her marriage.
She said in a now-deleted video:
”You will say I am crazy but I am not. This video is to let the world know that I am done with the marriage. I don’t have a lot to prove that I am done with him but I am done. I’m done. I am leaving with my life finally. I can’t say a lot now. You will hear my story’.”
Pandemonium. Confusion and many unanswered questions became the order of the day on all social media platforms.
The actress’s husband quickly took to social media to dispel any crash in their union.
The actress, in a video, also revealed that she was suffering from bipolar disorder.
Meanwhile, Aik Eke, Chacha’s brother denied that his sister was down with bipolar disease, contrary to a claim she made in the video.
Aik, throughhis Instagram page, accused Chacha’s husband of orchestrating the post with Chacha’s phone so as to deceive the public and clean up his image after she had earlier suggested she had ended their marriage because of abuse.
He wrote: “I don’t like drama, I don’t like fights on social media, I prefer to be low key on social media. But I won’t ignore this because it’s all shades of wrong and evil. Firstly, Chacha has not used a phone for the past five days and she did not post that video.
“Secondly she does not have bipolar disorder. Thirdly, I don’t know how that video was made. Why did he post such information without her consent because she’s not aware that he posted that video. I wonder why he is in a haste to clear his name at her expense. Someone you claim to love.
“Next time, use your IG account if you desperately want to clear your name. Meanwhile, for every smart moves, I’m here to counter it. Slow your roll, let sleeping dogs lie. That I said it’s not a case of domestic violence does not mean you are innocent. The world knows there is a cover up here. Be careful Mr. Man.”
It was a furious Chacha who later took to her page on Instagram to disclose that she always had crises anytime she gets pregnant!
Clearing the air about her marriage, she stated that she wasn’t leaving her husband She also said her “so-called” brother Aik should stay away from her family and marriage and face his own life. She also stated that it’s been ages since she saw her brother and that she has been having issues with her family even before she got married.
Definitely, something must have gone amiss in the once-upon-a-time happy union but must have been settled amicably.
“The birth of the baby also confirmed that Chacha normally has bipolar crisis anytime she was pregnant. She was in a hospital in Enugu for a while at the early stage of the pregnancy and during the social media frenzy about her marriage. The couple must have resolved whatever went wrong in their relationship,” a reliable source revealed to Kemi Ashefon.
