Afrobeat star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has shared details of how much he spends on himself each month, saying his personal expenses can run into hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Speaking during a livestream with Davrel, the singer disclosed that his monthly personal spending ranges between $200,000 and $300,000, excluding what he spends on his wife, children, jewellery and luxury cars.
Davido explained that the amount varies depending on where he is living at the time.
According to him, his expenses are significantly lower when he is in the United States, where he enjoys a quieter lifestyle with his wife and children.
However, he said his spending increases whenever he is away from home because of his demanding schedule and social engagements.

“It depends on my location. I spend less at Yankee because I live with just my wife and kids. But when I’m around, it’s a lot more. Normally, 500, 200, 300k, minus buying jewellery, buying a car. Minus my wife and my household,” Davido said.
The singer’s revelation has sparked conversations online, with many reacting to the scale of his monthly lifestyle expenses.
