How First Bank MD, Adesola Adeduntan, Celebrated His Two Women On Their Special Days

Last December was indeed a blast for Adesola Kazeem Adeduntan, the Managing Director of First Bank of Nigeria Plc. Adeduntan dazzled and bathed in the spotlight, like the proverbial sojourner who had spent an eternity crawling alone through the shadows that he might truly appreciate what it is to stand in the sun.

All work and no play would make Adeduntan a dull bloke, hence from the first week of December he partied like a rocker-fella, in the company of his beloved. On December 7, 2023, he made merry with his latest love interest, Adebimpe Aminat Oluwa-Badmus, as she celebrated her birthday; then seven days after, he celebrated with the first love of his life, Adenike, on her birthday.

It was indeed a heartwarming sight to behold the hitherto bulky bank chief, now looking trim and fit, as he rocked with the two most beautiful and important women in his life.

Very few men enjoy such a beautiful coincidence in life: to have their two heartthrobs celebrating their birthdays few days apart, during the Yuletide, and having both the fortune and the time to give them the best treats money and affection could buy. How very interesting!

Looking at him as he glowered in the company of his women, it became evident that Adeduntan was having a blast. Very few men of affluence of his stature enjoy the rare privilege of frolicking publicly with their sweethearts; Adeduntan did this without inhibitions or fear of reproach from a venomous or embittered spouse. This is because unlike many of his peers, he found no need to be cowardly and hide his love for one woman from the other.

More importantly, as a Muslim man, he enjoys the privilege to keep between two and four wives if he so desires.

These and many other reasons serve as deterrents to the rumour merchants, whose popular pastime involves spreading untrue and malicious gossip about upstanding members of the society, like Adeduntan.

Desperate for something to gossip about, mischief makers have started obsessing about Adeduntan’s newest heartthrob, Ameenat.

But whatever the nature of their gossiping about her, no one can label her a homewrecker or gold digger. This is because Ameenat, on her part, is  beautiful, and she is striving to prove herself as a valuable addition to Adeduntan’s life.

The divorced mother-of-three was doing very well on her own until she rediscovered love far from the wreck of her previous marriage.

Previously, she married the eldest son of the billionaire Chairman of Tuns Farm, Alhaji Tunde Badmus.

In the highest boughs of her ill-fated marriage, love rustled like branches of a dying elm with the branches and roots falling off; like several other couples whose passion and affection extinguished in the raging inferno of mid-life crises and love-gone-sour, she watched helplessly as the hitherto sturdy and supple oak of her marriage shrivelled and died.

Heartbroken, she became disenchanted with love and wedlock and gave romance a wide berth. So disillusioned was she with marriage that she cringed whenever it was mentioned to her, disenchantment curdled with regret and leapt out of her distressed soul, like knives from the sleeves of a medieval Samurai.

Then she met Adeduntan and rediscovered the sweetness and magnanimity of love.

Ameenat is undoubtedly smitten with Adeduntan, thus proving that there is never a time or place immune from the blossoming of true love. It happens circumstantially, in a heartbeat, in a single, flashing, throbbing moment.

Sources very close to her hinted that she has been keeping her new affair private for personal reasons.

But it became public knowledge as her lover, Adeduntan, surprised her with a private party as she clocked 47 on December 7, 2023.

It is pertinent to add that Adeduntan, who, before now, had kept the affair a secret, decided to go public with it for reasons best known to him.

Judging by their closeness, the affair has taken a more purposive direction. Despite their hectic schedules, the lovers find time to grease the wheels of their relationship.

Interestingly, Adebimpe pulled a fast one on friends and relatives, thus rubbishing speculations that she may have forsworn love and marriage.

The mother of three has rediscovered the sweetness of falling in love and staying in its folds; great thanks to Adeduntan.

Having stayed too long away from its lush folds, this time around, Adebimpe has fallen in love with added gusto, cradling the sweet passion and affection showered on her by her newfound beau, Adeduntan.

There is no gainsaying Adeduntan has won over her heart. But one remarkable feature of Adeduntan’s romance with Adebimpe is that it shares a striking resemblance with the one he maintains with his wife, Adenike. It’s a sweet reality that both women share the same birth month with their birthdays seven days apart.

Adeduntan is happily married and celebrated his 24th wedding anniversary to his wife, Adenike on July 17, 2023. While certain sources close to the First Bank head honcho insinuate that his attraction to Adebimpe may dull his love for Adenike, reality asserts a different truth as their love bears a close resemblance to the one he shares with his wife at home, in intensity and depth.

Anyone who takes more than a casual view of the Adeduntan-Adebimpe love nest would discover how much they love each other. Among other things, they would come by the understanding that it is possible for a man to love and care for more than one woman at a time.
