Popular Nollywood actress Ini Edo is once again in mourning, this time grieving the loss of a dear friend, just days after bidding farewell to her beloved father.
The actress had earlier taken to social media to announce the passing of her father, describing him as her greatest supporter and first love. The news left her followers heartbroken as she paid tribute to the man who played a pivotal role in her life.
Unfortunately, the grief has deepened for Ini Edo as she recently revealed that she lost a close friend, identified as Egy. Sharing her sorrow on her page, she reflected on their memories and expressed disbelief over the loss.
In her emotional tribute, she recalled how Egy had been actively involved in making arrangements for her father’s funeral just weeks ago, never imagining that she would soon be mourning him as well.
Expressing her pain, she wrote:
“I still cannot believe I’m typing this. Just a few weeks ago, you were rallying friends for my father’s funeral, only for me to wake up to the news of your passing. Egy, this one pain me oooo… Rest in the bosom of God, my dear friend. I have lost one of the few real friends I’ve ever had. They say, when it rains, it pours… hmmmmmm.”
