A 15-year old girl, who was charged at a Yaba Magistrate Court in Lagos for murder has been freed by Magistrate Philip Adebowale Ojo.
The teenager, a Senior Secondary School, SSS, 3 student, whose name we will not reveal so as to protect her identity, was charged for killing 51-year-old Babatunde Ishola, who allegedly tried to rape her.
Magistrate Ojo dismissed the suit following advice from the Lagos State Directorate of Public Prosecution, DPP.
The Lagos State Office of the Public Defender, OPD, headed by Dr. Babajide Martins defended the teenager bro bono.
