The Deputy Governor of Lagos State has confirmed that he appeared before the All Progressives Congress Governorship Screening Committee in Abuja as part of preparations for the party’s forthcoming governorship primaries.
Sharing an update via his X account on Saturday, the deputy governor disclosed that he successfully completed the screening exercise and received clearance from the committee.
“Today in Abuja, I appeared before the APC Governorship Screening Committee ahead of our party primaries.
“I am grateful for the clean bill of approval and clearance to move forward,” he wrote.
The screening exercise forms part of the APC’s internal process for aspirants seeking to participate in the governorship race.
Speaking further, the deputy governor described the process as part of his commitment to governance and service delivery in Lagos State.

He also reaffirmed his readiness to continue engaging with party members and residents of the state ahead of the next political phase.
“The work continues and I am ready to keep moving forward with you,” he stated.
