The groom, Prince Aderemi Sijuwade, one of the sons of the late Ooni of Ife, Oba Okunade Sijuwade, set the ball rolling when he sent a surprise wedding gift to his fiancee, popular make-up artist, Labisi Folawiyo.
The gift? A luxury Mercedes Benz car and it came to the bride very early on Saturday morning.
The traditional wedding kicked off thereafter and as expected, it was a gathering of the crème-de-la-crème of the society including the new Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi.
