Online movie streaming platform, Netflix, has announced that it has acquired the worldwide rights for Nigerian actress, Genevieve Nnaji’s movie, ‘Lionheart’.
In a media release on the Netflix website, the movie is expected to premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival on Saturday, September 8, 2018.
The movie is Genevieve’s directional debut, and features Genevieve Nnaji, Nkem Owoh, Pete Edochie, Onyeka Onwenu.
According to Netflix, “Lionheart marks the first Netflix original film from Nigeria.
