It was all pomp and pageantry recently in Lagos when Yoruba generalissimo, Iba Gani Adams celebrated his sixth anniversary as the Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland.
It was also the first public event he attended with his beautiful wife, Ayinba Joy.
The anniversary attracted all and sundry and was also a chieftancy installation ceremony for some eminent Nigerians.
Dressed in white, Iba and Aiyinba Adams gained the admiration of all.
Iba Adams was installed the Aare Ona Kakanfo by the late Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi.
Though he was installed with his first wife, Ayinba Mojisola Adam, the new wife was the only one present at the ceremony.
Recall Adams married Joy at a private ceremony in Lagos, with families, friends and associates of the Yoruba generalissimo present.
The new Ayinba, Joy Adams is a graduate of Physiology from Delta State University and she is presently studying for a Masters Degree.
She was a former Queen of Delta State and has once held the prestigious Miss Delta and the Most Beautiful girl in Urhobo land in 2012. Apart from her quality educational career, the beauty queen is a lover of music.
On whether his first marriage has crashed, the Aare through his aide, Kehinde Aderemi denied such.
“ That his marriage to his first wife crashed? Not really. There is nothing like that” he said
She loves music with passion, believing that music is the food of the soul.
