Nollywood actor, Gabriel Afolayan has finally unveiled his family to his fans and followers.
This he did when his twins clocked one year in October 2023.
Taking to Instagram, the actor, whose wedding made headlines in 2018 posted a lovely photo of his wife, Adebanke, and their twins wearing similar clothing on his official Instagram profile for the first time.
Captioning it, he wrote, “R .E.D.E.F.I.N.A.T.I.O.N happy birthday to my entire crew.”
Recall the 2018 society wedding was alleged to have crashed and the couple un-followed each other in 2020 on Instagram.
Everyone thought it was due to the cheating and wife-beating allegations as reported by Gistlovers’ Blog.
However, the actor in an interview with City People disclosed that his marriage is still very much intact and he has decided not to present his personal life to the public anymore.
He said, “That’s actually personal to me. I really don’t want my personal life out there; I always keep that out of the media not because of anything but it is just a personal principle for me. Nevertheless, my marriage is very much intact.
Yes, I heard about the rumours too, but you know, there is no marriage that doesn’t have its own challenges, but we have settled it. My wife just travelled out of the country, and we are very much okay. Just because I didn’t say anything or make it go viral for those looking for sensational stories, they think otherwise. But my marriage is intact.”
A blogger, Gistlovers, had reported that Gabriel Afolayan is an alleged wife beater and allegedly into drugs. The blogger posted then that a popular musician, Banky W was the cause of the brouhaha.
Gistlover, in a series of screenshots exposed how Banky W cheated on his wife with Gabriel Afolayans’ wife. In another post she exposed how Gabriel allegedly involved himself in drugs and became a wife beater.
Nothing was heard about the Afolayans until October 2023 when he and his wife posted their twins and family photos.
