Nollywood actor, Funke Akindele set Lagos on fire on Sunday night when she premiered her movie, ‘A Tribe Called Judah” after intensive publicity on social media.

The actress, fondly called ‘Jenifa’ , must have invited all her colleagues in the industry because everyone was present!

Dressed in a lovely gold bridal-like dress, the mum of two who is releasing her second movie this year, got so emotional before the movie was shown.

Inviting all her colleagues and friends into the cinema hall, she reminded them of the need to promote Nollywood since Hollywood would not promote them.

“Thank you everyone for turning up for me. This story is so passionate and its dedicated to my mum, she passed on February and I never knew she would pass on when I wrote the story. She is gone now, thank God. Please spread the gospel…we have to keep celebrating Nollywood and we have keep celebrating the African our stories. Hollywood will not celebrate us, let us celebrate ourselves..we are all one. December 15, please go to the cinema and watch..”
