Nollywood actress cum politician, Funke Akindele is in high spirits currently.
First, her birthday comes up on August 24, 2023 when she will clock 46 years.
The mother of twins who lost out in her bid to be a deputy governor in Lagos State on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has returned to her production/ brand influencing business.
Meanwhile, Kemiashefonlovehaven.com observes that her seventh wedding anniversary would have been today August 23.
But there is no celebration.
Instead, the ‘Jenifa’ actress who has been separated from her husband, Abdulrasheed Bello aka JJC Skillz, travelled to London and has been sharing beautiful photos of her gorgeous self on social media.
Recall JJC re-married in March 2023. The private wedding which held in Kano, was to one Falilat Raji.
Funke and JJC were said to have fallen apart two years before her estranged husband made it public on social media.
But before then, JJC’s son from another woman, had revealed that Funke and his dad were having illicit affairs with other persons.
On June 30, 2022, JJC Skillz left a shocking message for his Instagram followers on the platform where he announced his separation from the actress.
According to the rapper, the last two years have been difficult for them and he tried his best to make things work. He added that Funke asked him to leave the house three months before his announcement.
Speaking further, the father of twins stated that he tried his best to fix things but he believes it is beyond repair.
Already, Funke has removed Bello from her surname and reverted to her maiden name.
But nothing has been heard about their divorce.
The star actress walked down the aisle on Tuesday, 23, August, 2016 with Abdulrasheed Bello in London, United Kingdom at a quiet wedding witnessed by immediate family members, the best man, maid of honour, and friends with strong ties.
Recall that after their Tuesday August 23, 2016 wedding in London, JJC wished her a happy birthday on August 24, and referred to her as Funke Akindele Bello.
Abdulrasheed, aka Skilz is a multi-talented musician, music producer and a leading member of the JJC and 419 Squad based in London.
Until his decision to marry Funke, he was blessed with three children who are grown up and living in the United Kingdom.
