Nollywood filmmaker and actress Funke Akindele has unveiled the cast of her forthcoming movie, The Four: No One Fights Alone, ahead of its scheduled worldwide cinema release on December 11, 2026.
The highly anticipated film brings together an extensive lineup of actors, musicians and entertainment personalities, with Akindele serving as the writer, director and producer.
Among the stars featured in the movie are Waje, Chioma Akpotha, Bisola Aiyeola, John Ekanem, Wunmi Toriola, Lateef Adedimeji, Ireoluwa Olaniyan, Ali Nuhu, Omotunde Adebowale David, popularly known as Lolo1, Mide Iwasokun, Kolapo Omotosho, Shoday, Richard Mofe-Damijo, Timini Egbuson, Uzor Arukwe and Ogbolor.
Other members of the cast include Ronke Oshodi Oke, Antar Laniyan, Samuel Banks and Ayomide Iwasokun.
The Four is an emotional drama centred on friendship, motherhood, courage and resilience, with the lives of ordinary women taking centre stage as they confront a difficult situation.
The story is set between Odu Community and the city and follows Esosa and three other devoted women whose determination to secure the future of a young man they care about puts their relationships, faith and strength to the test.
The film also draws heavily from Nigerian culture, incorporating elements such as music, fashion, language and traditional values while exploring sacrifice, hope and unity.
Speaking in an interview with BellaNaija published on Monday, Akindele said she wanted the project to tell a story audiences could connect with.
“Audiences have grown with us over the years, and they expect stories that entertain while reflecting who we are,” she said.

She added, “With The Four, we are exploring the relationships that shape us, challenge us and stay with us. I think audiences will find a part of themselves in this story.”
The project further expands Akindele’s portfolio of major theatrical productions. She has previously directed and produced films such as Omo Ghetto: The Saga, Battle on Buka Street, A Tribe Called Judah, Everybody Loves Jenifa and Behind The Scenes.
Her films have enjoyed strong performances at the Nigerian box office, cementing her position as one of the country’s leading filmmakers.
The Four: No One Fights Alone is scheduled to hit cinemas worldwide on December 11, 2026, with FilmOne handling its theatrical distribution.
